Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Casio Sky Walker DW-401 men’s digital sports watch, powered by Module 905 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. The Sky Walker is one of Casio’s most iconic and sought-after vintage models, known for its bold aviation-inspired design and advanced functionality for its era.
The watch is in full working condition, with all features and functions operating properly, including timekeeping, alarm, chronograph, and mode selection.
All parts of the watch are original, including the Casio Sky Walker–branded resin strap, which is exceptionally difficult to find and highly prized by collectors. I believe the keeper on the band may have been replaced at some point, as is common with vintage resin straps.
The watch is in very good physical condition, showing signs of use and age consistent with a worn vintage watch. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
